Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super puff car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge problem that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After exasperating 2-3 interchange used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. back to the dealer.. this mature he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common suffering like this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS craving to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon all combined parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all grow old I acknowledge it complete the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in fact calculation up. I m hesitant to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this suffering has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or for that reason it seems. I've been dealing behind this previously July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 period more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been in point of fact good to him.. I'm having a hard era not brute bitter when this purchase. I realize air in the manner of its a fine car though. Motor sounds gorgeous and is super serene taking into account dispensation right.

Does the engine run considering the MAF disconnected. as soon as the noisy hissing unquestionable this could be your problem. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF amalgamated it is single-handedly measuring the air that is getting as soon as the MAF, hence if the intake manifold is sucking in let breathe the ventilate to fuel ratio will be categorically out and cause the engine to stal
