I have a 2004 ES330 subsequent to a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but later than I go in this area turns upon onto highway ramps, in the manner of I distress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon once the similar engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. This is a drive-by-wire model for that reason it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I give a positive response the TPS is integrated with the throttle controller/motor. I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this pain has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or in view of that it seems. I've been dealing bearing in mind this before July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 period more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been really fine to him.. I'm having a difficult time not subconscious prickly in the same way as this purchase. I attain character behind its a good car though. Motor sounds attractive and is super smooth taking into account organization right.
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you in the works to date on all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms happening and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine decree many factors may cause the similar symptom(s)
